ECZ GCE Service Fees and Charges
The Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ) provides various services that cater to the diverse needs of GCE candidates. These services include the verification of results, replacement of damaged or lost certificate, replacement of statement of results, certification of result photocopies, and a lot other post-examination services. The ECZ GCE service fees vary, so refer to the following table.

More About ECZ Services
- Verification of Results of results: ECZ allows the verification of GCE results. This ensures accuracy and the validity of examination outcomes. It involves the scrutiny of the marks obtained by candidates, confirming their grades, and ensuring consistency.
- Accumulation of GCE Results: A service for candidates who have taken GCE examinations in multiple sittings or sessions. ECZ allows the accumulation of these results. This enables all candidates with two or more GCE certificates to accumulate and consolidate them into a single GCE certificate.
- Replacement of Lost or Damaged Certificates: allows individuals to obtain replacements for certificates that may have been lost, or damaged. This is to ensure that candidates have the necessary documentation to validate their educational records.
- Other Post-Examination Services: In addition to the above services, ECZ offers a range of supplementary post-examination services. These may includes, re-sitting examinations, re-marking, registration of examination centres, and addressing issues related to the conduct of examinations.
Name changes on the Certificate
ECZ does not perform correction of candidate names on the certificate, once issued. Misspelled names are corrected only on the statement of results before printing of certificates.
Once ECZ officially releases the certificates, name changes are not allowed. However, if there are discrepancies between the statement of results and the certificate. For example where Mathematics is listed as “SIX” on the statement of results, but omitted on the certificate. ECZ will provide a replacement certificate free of charge.
