The Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) wishes to inform suitably qualified Zambian citizens that the Government of the United Mexican States, through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), has opened applications for the Mexican Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreigners 2026.
This scholarship programme is available to applicants from more than 170 countries and supports postgraduate studies, academic mobility, and research programmes at participating Mexican higher education institutions.
Scholarship Categories
The scholarship supports the following academic tracks:
- Master’s Degree Programmes (up to 24 months)
- Doctoral Degree Programmes
- Postdoctoral Research Stays
- Research Visits
- Academic Mobility Programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students (up to 12 months)
